What we do
alterego is two engines in one. The first is deep multi-agent research. It maps your market and your competitors, going further than single-pass "deep research" to truly understand the terrain. The second is always-on tracking: daily sweeps of every rival's pricing, product, and news, with each detected change interpreted and fact-checked against independent evidence. The two compound: research discovers who to track, tracker alerts trigger fresh research, and both land in one daily briefing.

Who built this
alterego is built by a small team from Amazon and Anthropic: frontier AI researchers who left to fuse two hard problems into a single product. The first is a multi-agent research engine that goes well past today's deep-research tools: it studies your market and your competitors, and keeps learning. The second is harder still: an agent with the discernment to separate a real competitive move from noise — and the receipts to prove it. Neither is a wrapper around someone else's model; both are original research, and both are the company.
